Mérhetetlen nagy fájdalommal tudatjuk, hogy a legnagyobb harcos, a legeredményesebb versenyzőnk, a legjobb edző és vezető megvívta betegségével a legutolsó harcot és elment az angyalok közé! Nézzetek fel az égre ... minden csillagban ott láthatjátok ŐT.
Felnőttet, gyereket egyaránt inspiráló edző és vezető volt, de mindenekelőtt sokak igaz barátja.
Juca munkássága az ugrókötél sportban soha nem merül feledésbe, hiszen óriási örökséget is hagyott maga után.
A végső búcsúztatásra zárt, családi körben kerül sor.
Minden barátot, volt és mostani versenyzőt…. Mindenkit szeretettel meghívunk 2026. március 07-én a maklári tornaterembe, hogy megünnepeljük együtt Juca életét és együtt tisztelegjünk a hihetetlen ember előtt, aki Apostol-Kovács JUCA volt!
It is with immeasurable sorrow that we announce that the greatest warrior, our most successful competitor, the best coach and leader has fought her last battle with her illness and has gone to be with the angels. Look up to the sky… you can see her in every star.
Juca was a coach and a leader who inspired both adults and children alike, but above all she was a true friend to many.
Juca’s work and her dedication to rope skipping will never be forgotten, as she has left an huge legacy behind.
The final farewell will take place in a closed, family circle.
We warmly invite all friends, former and current competitors – everyone – to the Sport Hall in Maklár on 7 March 2026, so that we may celebrate Juca’s life together and pay tribute to the incredible person that Apostol–Kovács JUCA was.

It is with profound sadness that we share the news of the passing of Judit “Juca” Apostol-Kovács.
Juca was an extraordinary force within our global jump rope family. As an athlete, she distinguished herself with excellence at the national, continental, and international levels. As a coach, she shaped and inspired athletes who rose to the highest levels of our sport. She was a pillar of the Hungarian jump rope community and most recently served as President of the Hungarian Federation, leading with integrity, resilience, and deep passion.
Even as she faced significant health challenges in recent years, Juca remained unwavering in her positivity and continued to contribute to the sport she loved with remarkable strength and grace.
Her passing is a tremendous loss not only for Hungary, but for the entire international jump rope community. Juca’s legacy will live on through the athletes she guided, the leaders she inspired, and the countless lives she touched around the world.
Our thoughts and heartfelt condolences are with her mother Zsuzsa, her husband Tamas, her daughter Szofi, and all her family and friends during this difficult time.

Dear Rope Skipping / Jump Rope enthusiasts,
It is with heavy hearts that we share the news of the passing of Judit “Juca” Apostol-Kovács.
Juca was a true powerhouse in our sport. As an athlete, she was very successful on national, European and international level. As a coach, she guided several athletes to the very top of the world rankings. She was a pilar of the Hungarian federation and most recently served as its president. From 2011 to 2015, she was a member of the ERSO Board of Directors and was the driving force behind the successful European Championships 2024 held in her hometown of Eger, Hungary.
The past years brought many challenges for Juca, as an illness slowed her ambitions, yet she always remained positive and gave as much as she possibly could.
Her passing is a big loss to the Hungarian and European Rope Skipping / Jump Rope community.
Our thoughts are with her mother Zsuzsa, her husband Tamas, her daughter Szofi, as well as the rest of her family and friends.
Juca, you were extraordinary, and it was an honour to organize the EC2024 alongside you and your team.

Kivételes embertől búcsúzunk – Apostol-Kovács Judittól, a Magyar Ugrókötél Szövetség elnökétől,
a Maklári Bosch Kötélugró Klub vezető edzőjétől, valamint többszörös világ- és Európa-bajnok sportolótól.
Juca életműve messze túlmutat a sportági eredményeken: munkásságával hidat épített generációk között, és meghatározó alakjává vált a magyar és a nemzetközi ugrókötél sport fejlődésének.
Vezetőként, edzőként és szakemberként mindig a közösség érdekeit tartotta szem előtt, és olyan értékeket adott át, amelyek hosszú időre kijelölik számunkra az utat.
Elhivatottsága, szakmai alázata és szenvedélye nélkül ma egészen más lenne sportágunk arculata. Mindannyiunkért dolgozott – fáradhatatlanul, következetesen –, és minden egyes lépésével hozzájárult ahhoz, hogy a magyar ugrókötél sport nemzetközi szinten is elismertté váljon.
Búcsúzunk tőle, de nem búcsúzunk el attól az örökségtől, amelyet ránk hagyott. A rendszer, amelyet felépített, a gondolatok, amelyeket közvetített, és a sport iránti mély szeretete tovább él mindannyiunk munkájában és közösségünkben.
Apostol-Kovács Judit pótolhatatlan számunkra.
Mégis, a szellemisége és hite örökké velünk marad. Példát mutatott nemcsak szakmailag, hanem emberileg is – és ez a példamutatás lesz az, amely tovább viszi a magyar ugrókötél sportot.
Köszönünk mindent, amit értünk tett.
Őrizzük emlékét, és továbbvisszük örökségét.

Such a beautiful person inside and out. Judit we had so many fun times back in the day. I always looked up to you as a competitor but was so happy to call you a friend during our European board and coaching days. My thoughts are with your family. Especially your daughter.
